## Synopsis

To share course materials with other instructors, you need to create a sandbox, copy material from your teaching section into the sandbox and enroll the instructor in the sandbox. The shared material can then be accessed by logging into MyCourses.

## Create a Sandbox

**Step 1:** Go to the <u><span style="color: #0000ff">[Colorado Online - Sandbox Creation Form](https://at.ccconline.org/colorado_online/instructors/sandboxes/create/)</span></u>

**Step 2:** Create a sandbox. Screenshot of created sandbox below:

**Note:** The sandbox creation form enrolls the instructor in the created sandbox as **Instructor with Enroll **

## Copy material from your teaching section into the sandbox

**Step 1:**  Login to <u><span style="color: #0000ff">[MyCourses](https://mycourses.cccs.edu/)</span></u> with your S number and password. Scroll down to the **Course Dashboard** and select the sandbox course tile to access the sandbox.

**Step 2**: Select **Course Admin** from the course navigation bar.

**Step 3**: Under the **Site Resources** section, select **Import/Export/Copy Components**.

**Step 4: ** Select **Copy Components from Another Org Unit**, and then select **Search for offering**.

**Step 5: ** In the search bar, type in the name of the teaching section you are copying from.  Select **Search** to start your search.

Select your course from the **Search Result** and then select **Add Selected** located at the bottom left of the window.

**Step 6: **Your course will be added.

Select **Copy All Components **to copy the entire course. Select **Select Components** to copy selected components.

The copying process will start at this point. **Note: **This may take a few minutes.

**Step 7:**  After the copy is complete, your copied course will show up under the **Copy Course Components History**.

**Step 8: ** Select **Course Home **to return to the Course Home page.

## Enroll the instructor in the sandbox

**Step 1:** Go to the Course **Classlist **and select **Add Participants**. Select **Add existing users**.

 **Step 2:**  Add the S number of the instructor you would like to enroll in the **Search** box and select the magnifying glass to start the search process.

**Step 3: **Select the checkbox next to the name of the instructor.

**Set the role to one of the following:**

- **Review Instructor (NC):** This is the recommended role that will allow them to view all course materials but not edit or copy.
- **Copy Course Access:** this will allow them to view all course content, but they will not be able to edit. They could choose to copy materials from this course into one of their own courses
- **Instructor:** This role would allow full view, edit, and copy access.

Select **Instructor** from the dropdown menu. Click **Enroll Selected Users**.

A Confirmation of enrollment will show up. Select **Done**.

The enrolled Instructor now has access.
